Visit Botswana
Afrilink offers a no obligation "try before you buy" business tourism package to Botswana and neighboring countries. The intention of these tours is to provide the client with a holistic view of what to expect when investing in Botswana, whether the client decides to relocate or not. The tours are highly recommended with personal guarantees that you will not be disappointed with undertaking the trip, even if you subsequently decide not to proceed with investment in Botswana.
Typically the package includes some or all of the following elements depending on the client's available time and areas of interest:
1. Group half day introductory workshop with local industry participants. i.e. potential customers, potential JV partners, regulators, upstream/downstream service providers, competitors (they may become collaborators), etc...
2. One on one meetings with any of the above in item 1
3. Visits to at least 3 potential likely business locations/premises with full access to any facilities for inspection. These may be in one city/town or several cities/towns
4. Visits to at least 3 residential areas with access to properties (house, apartment, townhouse, villa, etc...) for inspections
5. Visits to sports clubs and leisure facilities, specially arranged on game/event days, including client participation if desired
6. Visits to key tourist areas, including tourist activities. Road trips are recommended for appreciation of country but flights can also be arranged if desired.
7. Visits to restaurants, bars, cafes, etc...
8. Visits to church services if desired
9. Visits to neighboring countries if desired
Afrilink encourages a minimum 7 nights for these tours to get a comfortable appreciation of the in-country expectations. The tour can be arranged for a client representative on their own, a client and their spouse/partner, a client and family/business partner(s) or a group of industry business people. To ensure a quality experience, groups are limited to no more than 10 members. The tours are highly personalized, guided by the Afrilink director whom you would have met face to face in Australia and are NOT "cookie cutter" style generic trade missions.
